IL SB3072

Amends Senate Bill 3072 to expand authorized recipients of 911 emergency call recordings to include third parties with written, notarized approval from the caller or their legal representative.

Allows public bodies to make 911 emergency call recordings available for in-person listening by members of the public who are otherwise authorized by law to access the recordings.

Prohibits persons listening to 911 recordings in-person from recording, copying, or otherwise reproducing the sound recordings.

Requires that public body disclosures of 911 recordings comply with existing authorization requirements under law before providing access to requestors.
