Amends the Humane Care for Animals Act to define the "National Do Not Adopt Registry" as a publicly accessible, searchable database maintained by the Animal Legal Defense Fund containing names, dates of birth, offenses, and animal possession restrictions of convicted animal abusers.

Requires Illinois courts to notify defendants of convictions for animal abuse or cruelty involving companion animals (under specified sections) that the conviction will be reported to the registry, and mandates court clerks send conviction details to the National Do Not Adopt Registry.

Applies to convictions entered on or after January 1, 2015, for defendants 18 years of age or older convicted under Sections 3.01, 3.02, 3.03, 4.01, or 6 of the Humane Care for Animals Act, or Sections 12-35 or 48-1 of the Criminal Code of 2012.

Permits animal shelters, pet stores, animal breeders, and individuals to search the registry before selling, transferring, delivering, or placing companion animals for adoption.

Provides immunity from liability for entities and individuals who fail to conduct a registry search or who conduct a search in good faith before placing animals.
