SB3141 Summary

• Deletes the prohibition on concealed carry licensees carrying firearms on real property under control of the Cook County Forest Preserve District by striking paragraph (14) from Section 65 of the Firearm Concealed Carry Act.

• Maintains all other prohibited areas for concealed carry including schools, courthouses, detention facilities, hospitals, public transportation, alcohol-serving establishments, parks, and colleges/universities.

• Effective immediately upon becoming law.
