IL SB3268

Amends the Display of Tobacco Products Act to include alternative nicotine products in existing tobacco display restrictions.

Requires single packs of cigarettes and alternative nicotine products to be sold from behind the counter, in an age-restricted area, or in a sealed display case.

Defines "alternative nicotine product" by reference to the Prevention of Tobacco Use by Minors and Sale and Distribution of Tobacco Products Act.

Defines "age restricted area" as a signed designated area where minors under 18 cannot enter without a parent or legal guardian.

Exempts retail tobacco stores that derive at least 90% of revenue from tobacco products and prohibit minors from entering without parental accompaniment from these display restrictions.
