Amends the Peace Officer Firearm Training Act to expand the definition of "peace officer" to include probation officers as defined under Section 2 of the Illinois Police Training Act.

Changes the definition structure by replacing "or" with a semicolon and adding clause (iii) to explicitly include probation officers alongside active peace officers and retired law enforcement officers qualified to carry concealed weapons.

Maintains existing definitions of "peace officer" to include persons employed by county or municipality with primary duty to maintain public order or make arrests.

Applies the firearm training requirements and standards of the Peace Officer Firearm Training Act to probation officers meeting the Illinois Police Training Act criteria.
