SB3378 Summary

• Amends the Illinois Act on the Aging to require the Community Care Program ensure availability of specific services including assistance in the home, adult day services, emergency home response, community reintegration services, and medication management.

• Services must be made available to eligible clients who demonstrate a need for them regardless of the service delivery model or federal waiver under which their care is provided.

• Effective immediately upon becoming law.
