• Fox Valley Pleasure Driveway and Park District is reorganized as the Fox Valley Park District effective upon the Act becoming law, with the name change completed by filing a certified copy of the Public Act with county clerks.

• Beginning with the 2017 consolidated election, the district will have 7 commissioners elected for 4-year terms: 6 commissioners from 3 two-member districts and 1 commissioner elected at-large, with initial commissioners serving staggered terms (4 members for 4 years, 3 members for 2 years).

• Three electoral districts are established with specific geographic boundaries dividing portions of Kane, Kendall, DuPage, and Will Counties, with districts reapportioned after each decennial census to reflect population changes.

• All commissioners must be legal voters and residents within the park district, with terms beginning the first Monday following the election month; current appointed trustees continue serving until successors are elected and qualified.

• Existing taxes levied by the Fox Valley Pleasure Driveway and Park District before the name change remain valid and continue to be collected by the reorganized Fox Valley Park District.
