IL SB3421

Adds new subsection (8.5) to allow the Department of Professional Regulation to accept continuing education credit for mandated reporter training on recognizing and reporting child abuse offered by the Department of Children and Family Services.

Applies to persons holding professional licenses issued by the Department who are mandated reporters under the Abused and Neglected Child Reporting Act.

Requires the Department to adopt rules necessary to implement the continuing education credit provision.

Makes technical correction to statute by changing "facia" to "facie" in subsection (g) regarding tax compliance.
