Amends the Firearm Owners Identification Card Act (430 ILCS 65/8.1) to make a technical correction regarding notification procedures.

Circuit Clerks must notify the Department of State Police of all final dispositions in cases where the Department received information under Sections 2.1 and 2.2 of the Criminal Identification Act.

Courts must direct circuit court clerks to immediately notify the Department of State Police FOID department when someone is adjudicated mentally disabled or involuntarily admitted, and forward a copy of the court order.

Physicians, clinical psychologists, qualified examiners, law enforcement officials, and school administrators must notify appropriate departments within 24 hours if they determine a person poses a clear and present danger or is developmentally disabled.

Information disclosed under these notification provisions remains confidential and protected from redisclosure, except as required by law, and reporters are protected from criminal, civil, or professional liability except for willful or wanton misconduct.
