Amends the Illinois Health Facilities Planning Act by adding "managed care entities" to the definition of "health care facilities" subject to the Act's planning and review requirements.

Managed care entities will now be treated as health care facilities alongside hospitals, nursing homes, ambulatory surgical centers, and other existing facility types under the Act.

The amendment modifies Section 3 of the Illinois Health Facilities Planning Act to include managed care entities as item 9 in the list of defined health care facilities.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
