IL SB3561

Amends the Firearm Concealed Carry Act by adding places of worship to the list of prohibited areas where concealed carry is not allowed.

Prohibits licensees from carrying concealed firearms in any building, real property, or parking area under the control of a church, synagogue, temple, mosque, or other place of worship.

Applies the same signage requirements to places of worship as other prohibited locations, requiring 4-by-6-inch uniform signs posted at entrances indicating firearms are prohibited.

Maintains existing exceptions allowing concealed firearms to be stored in locked vehicles or containers in parking areas of prohibited locations for limited purposes of storage and retrieval.
