Appropriates $699,700 from the General Revenue Fund for the State Police Merit Board's ordinary and contingent expenses for fiscal year beginning July 1, 2014, including personal services ($361,900), contractual services ($273,100), and other operational costs.

Appropriates $500,000 from the State Police Merit Board Public Safety Fund for the board's ordinary and contingent expenses.

Appropriates $4,300,000 from the State Police Merit Board Public Safety Fund for all costs associated with a cadet program for the Department of State Police.

Total appropriations equal $5,499,700 across all funding sources.

Act takes effect July 1, 2014.
