Designates May 14, 2014 as Alpha Kappa Alpha Day in Illinois to honor Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated and its work in the community.

Highlights the Emerging Young Leaders (EYL) program, which will impact 12,000 girls in grades 6-8 across 90 chapters in the Central Region with leadership development and civic engagement initiatives.

Notes the sorority's Central Regional Conference held in Chicago from March 27-30, 2014, and the planned Capitol Day visit by Illinois youth participants on May 14, 2014.

Directs distribution of resolution copies to sorority leadership including International President Carolyn House Stewart and Central Regional Director Dr. Gisele M. Casanova.
