William T. Cox of Geneva passed away on May 17, 2014, at age 92.

Served in the United States Marine Corps from 1937-1939 and in the Navy SeaBees from 1943-1945 at Pearl Harbor.

Worked as a metallurgist at Burgess-Norton from 1955 to 1989, where he developed the hardening agent DH-5.

Active member of Masonic Trinity Lodge #208, American Legion Post #75, and American Society of Metals, and volunteered with Kane County Sheriff's Patrol.

Survived by two children, five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, one brother, and one brother-in-law.
