Senate Resolution mourning the death of Donald L. Saltsman of Peoria, who passed away on July 3, 2014.

Saltsman served as a Peoria City Firefighter from 1956 to 1984 and was President of the Associated Firefighters of Illinois Local 544 for 12 years.

Saltsman served as State Representative for District 92 from 1980 to 1996.

Survived by his wife Eva, four children, seven grandchildren, and one great-grandchild expected in September.

Senate extends condolences to Saltsman's family and friends and will present a copy of the resolution to the family.
