Barbara C. Beese of Antioch passed away on July 12, 2014; she was born January 22, 1929 in Woodstock to Victor H. and Hazel Thiele.

Worked as a secretary for District 34 for 12 years and as a Christian Science Nurse for over 10 years.

Settled in Antioch in 1957 where she was a member of the Antioch Women's Club, Lakes Region Historical Society, and First Church of Christ Scientist in McHenry.

Survived by her husband Earl of 66 years, 4 children, 11 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 2 sisters.

Illinois Senate mourns her passing and directs a copy of this resolution be presented to her family as an expression of sympathy.
