Commemorates the death of Ansel Ross Bartlett of Rushville, who passed away on July 27, 2014.

Bartlett was born December 22, 1922, in Schuyler County, graduated from Rushville High School in 1940, and was a lifelong farmer in the county.

Served as Rushville Township Supervisor starting in 1980 and was a Democratic Precinct Committeeman; was also a member of the First United Methodist Church and various Masonic organizations.

Coached Little League for over 20 years, sang in the church choir and Schuyler Singers, and served on the Board of Directors of Schuyler State Bank.

Survived by his wife Barbara, four sons, seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and two sisters.
