Honors Walter "Budd" Jacob of Dunlap, who died on August 8, 2014, and was born in Chicago in 1934.

Jacob began his career at Anheuser-Busch in Chicago in 1952, advancing to district manager before purchasing Brewers Distributing Company in Peoria in 1968 and serving as president and CEO until 1998.

Jacob was an active community supporter in the Peoria area, avid sports fan, and accomplished artist who enjoyed sketching and painting.

Jacob is survived by his wife Margaret, three children (George, Margaret "Meg", and Paul), and 10 grandchildren.

Illinois Senate expresses sympathy to Jacob's family and directs a suitable copy of the resolution be presented to them.
