Illinois Senate expresses condolences on the death of Betty R. Farley, who passed away on September 15, 2014

Betty Farley was born July 20, 1919 in Alton and was the oldest living graduate of Marquette High School

Farley was employed in the jewelry department at Famous Barr for 10 years and was an active member of the Upper Alton Woman's Club for over 50 years and the Illinois State Chapter of P.E.O.

Farley is survived by 4 daughters, 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 2 brothers-in-law

A suitable copy of the resolution will be presented to the Farley family as an expression of the Senate's sympathy
