Charles L. Leady of East Alton passed away on September 23, 2014; he was born May 5, 1934 in Geff to Elmer F. and Julia M. Leady.

Leady worked 42 years with the Brass Division of Olin Corporation before retirement and was an active member of the United Pentecostal Church in Wood River for over 25 years.

Leady married Norma L. Day on April 5, 1966 in Wood River and was preceded in death by his parents, wife, daughter Lucinda Bryant, and two great-grandchildren.

Leady is survived by 5 daughters, 2 sons, 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 3 brothers, and extended family members.

The Illinois Senate expresses sympathy to the Leady family and directs a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to them.
