Sidney M. Edinger passed away on September 16, 2014; he was born July 24, 1929 in Woodstock and was a resident there since 1995.

Graduated from Woodstock Community High School in 1947 and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Carleton College in 1951.

Served in the United States Navy as a Naval Officer, serving aboard a destroyer during the Korean War and retiring from Naval Reserves after 20 years of service.

Joined Kimberly Clark Corporation in 1953 and retired in 1988 as Senior Vice President of Marketing and Logistics.
