Earl E. Smith of McHenry died on September 14, 2014; he was born May 2, 1938 in Effingham to Oscar Earl and Allene (nee Engle) Smith

Worked as a tool & die maker at Regency Die & Mold Company in Ingleside before retiring 7 years prior, then worked part-time at Meijer in McHenry in the Garden Department for nearly 4 years

Active member of West Shore Beach Property Owners Association in McHenry, serving on the Board of Directors and holding the offices of President and Vice-President for several years

Survived by daughter Tiffany (Francis) Fisher, son Christopher Stone, two grandchildren (Dominick Fisher and George Fisher), three brothers, one sister, and several nieces and nephews

Illinois Senate mourns his passing and extends condolences to his family and friends, with a suitable copy of the resolution to be presented to his family
