Robert "Bob" L. Sanders of Spring Grove passed away on September 18, 2014; he was born July 7, 1942 in Elgin to George and Maxine (nee Bolt) Sanders.

Worked as a heavy equipment operator for Paul May and Sons in Spring Grove and Gary Hoehne and Sons in Richmond; also worked at family-owned George's Towing and served the Spring Grove Volunteer Fire Department.

Preceded in death by his parents, daughter Debra Huff, and sister Sandra Londberg.

Survived by 2 daughters (Michelle Sanders and Kimberly Schelberger), 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers, 1 sister, and many nieces and nephews.

Illinois Senate expresses sympathy and will present a suitable copy of this resolution to the Sanders family.
