Charles W. Kocher, Jr. of McHenry passed away on September 26, 2014.

Born in Chicago on June 27, 1935; married Jeanne Annette Koegel on April 28, 1956.

Served as a transportation specialist in the U.S. military civil service at missile sites in the Chicago area; served in the Illinois National Guard and as a Boy Scouts leader for 5 years.

Survived by his wife of 58 years, five children, nine grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

Illinois Senate expresses condolences to his family and directs a copy of the resolution be presented to his family.
