Illinois Senate expresses mourning for Betty M. Gleason of Pekin, who died on October 26, 2014.

Betty Gleason was born November 2, 1929 in Peoria to Herman P. and Dorothy M. Garriott; married Walter E. Gleason on March 20, 1948.

Betty was a homemaker and member of the First United Methodist Church in Pekin who enjoyed golfing and was a Chicago Cubs fan.

Survived by 2 sons, 8 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren; preceded in death by her husband Walter and her parents.

Senate directs that a copy of this resolution be presented to the Gleason family as an expression of sympathy.
