Notes his 42-year career as a department head X-ray technologist at Augustana Hospital & Health Care Center in Chicago from 1947 until his retirement in 1989.

Acknowledges his active involvement in Grace Lutheran Church in Richmond, where he served as Congregation Steward, Property Chairman, past President of Church Council, and Lay Minister, and his membership in the American Legion Post #253, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and Young at Heart fellowship ministry.

Extends condolences to his surviving wife Billie, son Thomas, four grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, and two sisters.
