Lucy W. Wallace of Marengo died on October 18, 2014 at age 89.

Born April 28, 1925 in Belvidere to Nicholas and Agnes West; married Charles W. Wallace on August 21, 1947 in Rockton.

Attended Marengo schools and Lake Forest College; worked as a legal secretary at Aetna Casualty and Surety Company in Chicago, a law firm in Elgin, and Wallace Insurance Agency in Marengo.

Member of the First Presbyterian Church of Marengo; survived by daughter Patricia Wallace, three nephews, one niece, and several great-nephews and great-nieces.

Illinois Senate expresses sympathy and directs that a copy of this resolution be presented to her family.
