Honors Marilyn Frances Ellis Swieck of Oak Park, who died on August 7, 2014 at age 89.

Recognizes her employment at Oak Park Public Library from 1967 to 1986, where she retired as head of the Circulation Department.

Notes her dedication to social justice, United Methodist Women mission work, and environmental causes, as well as her talents in piano, knitting, baking, and fudge making.

Survived by three daughters (Linda Hunter, Laura Swieck, and Leslie Swieck), one brother, two grandchildren, and extended family members.

Directs presentation of a suitable copy of this resolution to the family as an expression of sympathy.
