Born October 9, 1927 in Kaw City, Oklahoma; married Shirlene Stoneking on May 28, 1950 in Nowata, Oklahoma.

Served in the United States Navy starting in 1945 during World War II; later graduated from Oklahoma A&M College (now Oklahoma State University) with a Bachelor of Science degree.

Worked for Amoco Oil Company (British Petroleum) for 38 years and enjoyed golfing, reading books, and spending time with family.

Survived by his wife Shirlene, 2 sons, 8 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren; a suitable copy of the resolution will be presented to his family.
