Recognizes her roles as a wife, mother, and homemaker, and her membership in Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, the Lutheran Women's Missionary League, and the YMCA of Edwardsville.

Notes she was preceded in death by her husband Donald, her parents, son Michael Sonnenberg, and sisters Betty Putty and LaVerne Murphy.

Survivors include son Don Sonnenberg, three daughters (Vickie O'Neill, Pat Frey, and Debbie Mitchell), 5 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Directs the Illinois Senate to extend condolences to her family and present a copy of the resolution to the Sonnenberg family.
