Illinois Senate honors Joseph Menich of Waukegan, who died on September 13, 2014, at age 87.

Menich served in the United States Navy during World War II and worked for AT&T for 38 years before retiring.

Active in his community as a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, American Legion Homer Dahringer Post 281, and Telephone Pioneers of America.

Survived by his wife of 64 years (Lois), two daughters (Denise and Nancy), two grandchildren, and a devoted caregiver (Edmar).

Senate resolves to present a copy of this resolution to Menich's family as an expression of sympathy.
