Memorializes Judge Garry William Bryan, born October 8, 1953 in Harvey, Illinois, who passed away in 2014.

Judge Bryan earned a bachelor's degree in English from Lewis University in 1977 and a law degree from The John Marshall Law School in 1980, then practiced law before being appointed Circuit Judge of DeWitt County in 2008 and running unopposed for election in November 2010.

Recognized Judge Bryan's passionate work with the DeWitt County Drug Court, which he believed provided individuals struggling with addiction an opportunity to address substance abuse issues and contribute to society.

Notes Judge Bryan was survived by his wife Joyce, two sons, two granddaughters, a brother, and extended family members, with a Memorial Docket held in his honor on November 14, 2014 presided over by Illinois Supreme Court Chief Justice Rita B. Garman.

Directs the Illinois Senate to present a suitable copy of this resolution to Judge Bryan's family as an expression of sympathy.
