IL HB0146

Amends the Tax Increment Allocation Redevelopment Act to allow the City of Waukegan to utilize non-sales tax increment revenues from one redevelopment project area for eligible costs in another redevelopment project area within the city.

Adds new subsection (q-5) to Section 11-74.4-4 of the Illinois Municipal Code authorizing this cross-project revenue transfer authority specifically for Waukegan.

Applies to revenues other than State sales tax increment revenues, limiting the scope of transferable funds between redevelopment areas.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
