Creates a 17-member Commission on Young Adult Employment with four members appointed by each legislative leader and the Chairperson of the Chicago State University Board of Trustees serving as chair

Members serve 2-year terms without compensation but may be reimbursed for expenses; Chicago State University provides administrative support to the Commission

Commission shall identify employment barriers for young adults entering the job market and barriers to employment and promotion in State government, with recommendations for addressing these issues

Commission must consult with State agencies, community stakeholders, universities, institutions of higher education, and local school boards

Commission shall submit annual reports to the General Assembly by November 30 beginning in 2015, detailing findings and recommendations

Act repeals January 1, 2019
