IL HB2410

Amends the State aid formula in the School Code (105 ILCS 5/18-8.05) to allow shortened school days on homecoming and prom days without reducing state aid eligibility.

Permits days with less than 5 clock hours of instruction to count toward the required 176 days of actual pupil attendance when school days are shortened for homecoming or prom planning and festivities.

Adds new subdivision (k) to the Average Daily Attendance compilation section to specify how homecoming and prom days are counted for state aid purposes.

Effective July 1, 2015.
