IL HB2450

Amends the Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practices Act by adding Section 2TTT regarding contact lens pricing practices.

Prohibits manufacturers or distributors of prescription contact lenses from preventing retailers from selling or advertising contact lenses below any specified price.

Makes it unlawful for manufacturers or distributors to limit a retailer's ability to determine the prices at which contact lenses are offered or advertised to consumers.

Prohibits manufacturers or distributors from discriminating in the distribution of contact lenses based on the channel of trade or whether the retailer is associated with a person or entity authorized to prescribe contact lenses.
