IL HB2465

Amends the Covering ALL KIDS Health Insurance Program to add a new eligibility exclusion for undocumented immigrants.

Children who are undocumented immigrants are not eligible for coverage under the program, effective upon passage.

Modifies Section 20(e) of the Covering ALL KIDS Health Insurance Act (215 ILCS 170/20) to include immigration status as a disqualifying factor.

Maintains all other existing eligibility requirements, including residency in Illinois, household income at or below 300% of federal poverty level, and lack of other health insurance coverage.
