Allows school boards to excuse students in grades 9-12 from physical education courses if they request an exemption and are enrolled in 2 or more Advanced Placement (AP) courses.

Maintains existing exemptions for students in grades 11-12 participating in interscholastic athletics or enrolling in required academic classes for college admission or high school graduation.

Permits students in grades 9-12 enrolled in marching band programs to be excused from physical education if they request an exemption for ongoing participation.

Authorizes school boards to excuse students in grades 9-12 enrolled in Reserve Officer's Training Corps (ROTC) programs from physical education courses.

Requires school boards choosing to exercise exemption authority to establish policies to excuse pupils on an individual basis.
