IL HB2725

Amends the Recreational Trails of Illinois Act to exempt off-highway vehicles with a current Off-Highway Vehicle Usage Stamp from requiring a public access sticker when operated on public off-highway vehicle parks.

Public access sticker requirement remains in effect for off-highway vehicles without a current Usage Stamp operating on public parks paid for, operated by, or supported by the state grant program.

Existing sticker fee structure maintained: $30 for individuals, $50 for rental units, $75 for dealer/manufacturer demonstrations, $50 for agricultural use, $50 for out-of-state residents without reciprocal agreements, and $50 for vehicles without titles (all valid for 3 years).

Department retains authority to enter reciprocal agreements with other states to allow their residents to operate vehicles without acquiring Illinois stickers.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
