Imposes an additional 30% tax on the privilege of cultivating medical cannabis calculated as a percentage of sales price per ounce.

Imposes a 20% tax on the privilege of dispensing medical cannabis calculated as a percentage of sales price per ounce.

Imposes a 10% tax on the privilege of using medical cannabis calculated as a percentage of sales price per ounce.

Directs tax proceeds to the General Revenue Fund with allocation as follows: 35% for pension obligations, 35% for state debt obligations, and 30% to the Grandparents Custody Assistance Fund.

These taxes are in addition to all other existing occupation or privilege taxes imposed by the State of Illinois or local political subdivisions.
