HB3388 Summary

• Removes the exemption that prevented the State from recovering payments for coursework or training programs provided as part of the Upward Mobility Program administered by the Department of Central Management Services.

• Allows the State to recover tuition and fees paid for training programs under the work commitment requirement, subject to the existing reduction formulas (25% per year for degree programs, 1/18th per month for non-degree programs).

• Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
