IL HB3445

Amends the Notice By Publication Act to allow notices to be published in newspapers from an adjacent county when no newspaper exists in the specified unit of local government or school district or its county.

Modifies the Newspaper Legal Notice Act to extend publication options to adjacent counties, removing the previous limitation to only "adjoining" counties.

Validates any notices published prior to the effective date of this act that comply with the amended provisions.

Establishes that in cases of conflict between these amendments and other existing law, the provisions of this act shall control.

Takes effect upon becoming law.
