HB3483 - Attorney General Appropriations

• Appropriates $30,843,200 from the General Revenue Fund to the Office of the Attorney General for operational expenses for fiscal year ending June 30, 2016.

• Appropriates $1,400,000 to the Illinois Equal Justice Foundation and $1,000,000 from the Illinois Gaming Law Enforcement Fund for state law enforcement purposes.

• Allocates $11,200,000 from the Attorney General Court Ordered and Voluntary Compliance Payment Projects Fund and $11,300,000 from the State Projects and Court Ordered Distribution Fund for law enforcement, public education, interagency agreements, and court-ordered distributions.

• Provides funding from multiple specialized funds including $8,963,200 from the Violent Crime Victims Assistance Fund, $3,500,000 from the Tobacco Fund, $1,900,000 from the Charity Bureau Fund, $7,000,000 from the Whistleblower Fund, and smaller amounts for child support enforcement, domestic violence, and sex offender awareness programs.
