Allows persons age 62 and older to use a crossbow for hunting without restrictions.

Permits handicapped persons to use a crossbow if the Director issues a permit based on a physician's statement confirming the person is unable to use a longbow, recurve bow, or compound bow.

Permits all persons to use a crossbow during the period from the second Monday following Thanksgiving through the last day of the archery deer hunting season, as set annually by the Director.

Requires all crossbows used for hunting in Illinois to have a minimum peak draw weight of 125 pounds and a maximum draw weight of at least 300 pounds.

Changes "them" to "the person" in the definition of handicapped person for grammatical consistency.
