IL HB3690

Amends the Toll Highway Act to provide that vehicles owned or operated by a Mass Transit District created under Section 3 of the Local Mass Transit District Act may use toll highways without paying tolls.

Maintains existing toll exemptions for law enforcement, fire department, emergency services vehicles, and ambulances when engaged in emergency duties or plainly marked.

Requires unmarked emergency vehicles to present an Official Permit Card issued by their agency to use toll highways without paying tolls.

Continues existing exemption for vehicles owned or operated by the Suburban Bus Division of the Regional Transportation Authority when transporting passengers for hire.

Requires the Toll Highway Authority to maintain a publicly accessible list of all persons authorized to use toll highways without charge when on official Authority business.
