IL HB3721

Amends the Service Member's Employment Tenure Act to expand the definition of "military service" to include National Guard members called to active duty by the Governor of Illinois or any other state governor.

Extends employment protections to National Guard members serving on state active duty orders, not just federal active duty.

Maintains existing protections for all members of the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, Coast Guard, and State Militia in federal or state service.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
