IL HB3747

Amends the Agricultural Fair Act to eliminate Fair and Exposition Authorities that participated in appropriations in 1999, requiring them to transfer all remaining funds to county fairs within 30 days of the act's effective date.

Terminates the terms of Fair and Exposition Authority members and dissolves the Authority upon transfer of funds to the county fair.

Allows county fairs to elect in odd-numbered years to participate in appropriations from the Fair and Exposition Fund instead of the Agricultural Premium Fund, with elections binding for 4 calendar years.

Removes Fair and Exposition Authorities from future distributions of money from the Fair and Exposition Fund, making distributions available only to eligible county fairs that elect to participate.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
