• Removes restrictions on abortion coverage in the Problem Pregnancy Health Services and Care Act by striking language prohibiting grants to nonprofit agencies that use funds to refer, counsel for, or perform abortions.

• Removes language from the Public Aid Code prohibiting physicians convicted of performing abortions in a willful and wanton manner on non-pregnant women from participating in the medical assistance program.
