Amends Section 10-152 of the Property Tax Code to extend the repeal date of the vegetative filter strip assessment provision from December 31, 2016 to December 31, 2026.

Vegetative filter strips located between farm fields and protected areas (surface water, streams, rivers, or sinkholes) qualify for reduced property tax assessments in counties with less than 3,000,000 inhabitants at 1/6th of cropland productivity index value.

In counties with 3,000,000 or more inhabitants, vegetative filter strips are valued at the lesser of 16% of fair cash farmland value or 90% of the 1983 average equalized assessed value per acre.

Requires soil and water conservation districts to assist taxpayers with certified documentation that property meets vegetative filter strip requirements and to create conservation plans for filter strip creation.

Effective upon becoming law.
