Creates a Law Enforcement Information Task Force to study and make recommendations regarding criminal discovery and law enforcement information sharing.

Task Force consists of 17 members from courts, state agencies, prosecutors, public defenders, judges, bar associations, police, and sheriffs' departments; members serve without compensation.

Task Force must analyze current criminal discovery costs and processes, evaluate electronic information sharing systems, and study whether statewide standardized case management systems would improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Task Force must provide a preliminary report by December 15, 2016, and a final report by January 15, 2017, including recommendations for legislation, technology use, and process improvements.

Act is repealed on February 1, 2017.
